Hailey Says...

-Our kids each received an early christmas present yesterday. Hailey got an easy bake oven and she told me she has wanted one all her life. (She had never even heard of them)
-Hailey told me today that she wished we lived in Paris.
-Her new word is dare. For example: She asked Ben what I had bought for her cousin's birthday and he told her fish lips. She said "Oh, she would dare not do that!"
-Grace gave Hailey a hug and I asked her if she loved her sister. Hailey said "Of course she does, I give her stuff".

CHEESE Please

Well, it's happened... I feed my kids mac 'n' cheese. I don't think Dallin and Hailey even knew what it was until recently. But being a busy mommy has forced me to this. Now that I have started there's no turning back. They actually cheer for it! Grace, my very picky eater devours it and licks the bowl! I never liked it as a kid, and my mom being the awesome cook that she is never fed it to us. So I just haven't ever wanted to make it. Things have changed!

Some of you may have wondered why I don't have more pictures of the 3 kids together or why I haven't payed a photographer for a while to take their picture. This would be a prime example of why I do not. Without fail Grace screams! Why? I have no idea.

Thanksgiving.....

We had a great time at my parents' over the holiday. It was filled with food, family, football, shopping, and an eagle court of honor. Even though I continually complain about the cold, I truly love the holidays. I love spending time with family and reflecting on my many blessings.

Me, my brother, Troy, and my aunt, Susan, eating at our family's favorite restaurant the Pagoda. We go there for almost every family celebration. It is in downtown Salt Lake and it is the best Japanese around! I love it!

My "baby" brother Troy and my parents at his eagle court of honor. It's so hard for me to believe he is 18. Where does the time go? He was only 8 when I got married.
We are so proud of you Troy. What an awesome accomplishment!

Life is good.... listening to a story on grandma's lap!

Daddy and his little indian princess

Oh, a side note....last week Ben took me to see Twilight. It was definately better than I thought it would be. Ben even liked it. I think it sparked a very slight interest. Maybe he'll read the books (but probably not).
