I know, I have been slacking on my blog! I have completely let politics dominate my time (my FB friends know this to be true). I seriously cannot get enough info right now. I read articles online, watch interviews, read bills, yeah I'm obsessed. I go through waves of interest, usually around the elections, but lately I feel so compelled to get informed and then let my voice be heard. I think the biggest motivator for me is how the policies are going to directly affect my children. That is my turf! I do not want to have any of my parental rights taken. I know what is best for my kids, the government definitely does not. Obama now is pushing for longer school days and school years. Um, NO! 3 hours at night with my kids is not enough, they are NOT taking any more of that time away! I'll pull them out before that happens. I have serious concerns with the Safe Schools and Drug Free Schools Czar. I belive if the government has total control of our health care it will essentailly give them control over most aspects of our life, and the list goes on and on. Sorry to my friends who are sick of my political tirade. Just ignore me if it drives you crazy :)

I'm used to the talk of politics...Kev's obsessed any time of year. His example helps me want to be informed also! (And having Glenn Beck on every night doesn't give me a choice anyways!) It really is horrible what Obama wants to do with - well almost any aspect of the government!
I totally agree with you! More of us need to do that kind of research. Your hair is really cute too!
