In Seatle to see Stephanie Meyer

These pictures are of our second day. We took a rental car out to the Olympic Peninsula. The scenery was beautiful. It was so amazingly GREEN! The forests were covered with ferns and moss and it was exciting to see.
A shot of the lush forest.

Here we are at First Beach at La Push. We also went Forks and had a "Bella Burger" at a little burger joint. It was such a fun trip, I'm so glad I was able to go and get to know these fun girls!

This is a shot of the beautiful flowers throughout Pike's Market. The bouquets were so cheap, but we had no place to put one. Our flight arrived in Seatle around 7 am so we went to or hotel and dropped off our luggage and then went sightseeing. It was a fast paced trip, we had a lot we wanted to accomplish in the 2 days we were there.

This is also at Pike's market where they sing and throw the fish around. People gather around to watch and occassionally they throw a fake fish at an unsuspecting shopper.

Here is Annette and me on top of the Space needle. We really lucked out with no rain on our trip.

Before the concert/booksigning we posed for a pic. From the left is Jessica, Annette, Alison, and Kim.

In our seats at the concert. Stephanie Meyer asked Justin Furstenfeld from Blue October if he would do this tour with her and he accepted so he sang and played the acoustic guitar. Stephanie explained how some of his songs inspired different parts of her books and individual characters. I have to tell about Jessica's shirt. She made it herself and it says "My heart belongs to my husband, My neck belongs to Edward"

5 want to talk about it:

Sounds like a fun trip. I haven't jumped on the Twilight series yet (don't know if I am going to...) Everyone seems to love them though. Do you like the books?

I like your group picture of us. I will have to copy it. Mine has the stinking date in it.
Allison has my address wrong on her invite list so I can't get on her blog either. I will call her though.
