The Latest

I was so happy to have Dick and Susan pay us a visit while Ben was in Cali. We had a great time, here is a picture of Grace, Dick , and Dallin at the lake.

Grace has acquired a love for steamed broccoli. I can't get the girl to eat many fruits but she'll eat broccoli. Go figure! This first pic looks a lot like my baby pictures, very surprising!
Now that summer is winding down I am already starting to mourn! Although, I am ready for the kids to back to school, and so are they! Being together every waking hour has it's drawbacks. We will just be sad to say goodbye to warm weather. Hailey is so excited to start kindergarten. We went to her class for an orientation and she is the youngest and the smallest but I'm pretty sure that won't keep her from taking charge! Good Luck to Mrs. Moss!!! Dallin is excited to, but he is a little nervous about what to expect. His previous private school had an LDS influence and I think he will miss that. They had devotionals every day, pictures of the Savior in the class room and teachers that really loved their students. I hope public school doesn't give him shell shock. I truly think he will do great though! He adjusts well to knew things. He is really looking forward to riding a big yellow school bus with his sister! I think that will be the highlight of their day.Well, I have jumped on the Twilight train (I'm probably the last one). Last month my friend Annette invited me to go to the Stephanie Meyer book signing and concert in Seattle next week with her and a couple of her friends. Of course I jumped on the opportunity of a just girls trip (nevermind that I didn't even know who Stephanie Meyer was). So I decided to find out what all the hype was about. Since then I have been able to read a book about every week which puts me right on target for finishing "Breaking Dawn" before the book signing on Aug. 12. So my wonderful husband will be playing Mr. Mom for for a few days while I go have some girl time. Thank you honey, you're the best!

3 want to talk about it:

I beat you on being the last on the Twilight hype- I still haven't read any. Someday though. But nursing school starts up again so I think it will be a lot longer! Lucky to go on a little vacation!! Hope you have fun!!

Man..I'm excited to say good-bye to warm weather...but I lived in Idaho long enough to know exactly what you're talking about.
Your kids are adorable! I enjoyed being around them at the reunion this year.
Ben, the surfboard looks great. Hopefully you'll be able to get a lot of use out of it.
